According to something I stumbled across, this Christmas light display was inspired by a neighborhood spat. Apparently, the neighbors had complained that this family's rooster was crowing too early in the morning. I don't know how persistent or nasty the complaints were, but the family responded with this Christmas light display.
It is hilarious watching it a few times, but I can't imagine having to live with it--either as the neighbor or the family who had it installed. In any case, you can watch it as often as you like.
