There are a lot of plants, shrubs, and trees closely packed together, and they are labeled so that you can have some idea about each plant. There are a few plants which you can relate to the Bible (e. g., olive trees and a frankincense bush). There weren't too many flowers in bloom, but we did enjoy seeing so much lush green. The cost for parking maxes out at $5. Donations are accepted in the botanical garden.
Philip told us that if he ever gets to a tropical paradise, it will be all about the plants. I think he was kidding. |
